Can a (48) Volt Cart be converted to Lithium? Yes, it is possible to convert a 48V golf cart to use lithium batteries. This process involves replacing the existing lead-acid batteries with lithium batteries, and it’s typically done using a “drop-in” replacement system, where the lithium batteries fit into the existing battery compartments without needing modifications.
